FOR WOMEN ONLY is an ongoing weight management/motivational support group.

Achieve and maintain a healthy body weight with the support that comes when women help women: a place to bring your challenges and frustrations and leave empowered.

Give up dieting and start living!

Pricing:
$150 for 10 meetings (priority given for reserved seating)
$25 for one drop-in (space permitting; group size limited)

Times:
Monday evenings: 5:45 - 6:45 pm
Thursday mornings: 11:00 am to noon
Friday mornings: 9:30 - 10:30 am (waiting list)

BASICS OF BODYWORK FOR WOMEN
A four-week (1.5 hour/session) educational and motivational program designed to empower women with the tools and confidence to exercise in almost any situation.

You will learn…
  • The principles behind exercising with free weights and/or machines
  • The difference between aerobic and anaerobic exercise
  • The primary muscle groups of the body and how they work.
As women, we need to trust our bodies, be strong and be proud of them.

Increasing overall body strength can
  • Improve posture
  • Improve quality of sleep
  • Decrease blood pressure
  • Increase metabolism
  • Reduce body fat
  • Improve sex
  • Improve activities such as lifting and climbing
  • Improve balance and prevent falls
